PbO Powder
General description
Lead (II) oxide is amphoteric in nature, capable of reacting with both acid and base. It exists in two forms, litharge and massicot. Lead (II) oxide is commonly used in making lead glass and glazing pottery. Addition of PbO (as a dopant) to Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite increases the densification rate and final sintered density, whereas activation energy of densification was reduced.
Application
Lead(II) oxide (PbO) has been used in the preparation of (Pb0.93La0.07)(Zr0.65Ti0.35)O3 powder (PLZT 7/65/35), (Pb0.97La0.03)(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 (PLZT) ceramics and (Pb0.84Ba0.16)(Zr0.54Ti0.46)O3 (PBZT) ceramics.

PZT Powder
General Description
Lead zirconate titanate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Pb[ZrxTi1−x]O3 (0≤x≤1). Also called lead zirconium titanate, it is a ceramic perovskite material that shows a marked piezoelectric effect, meaning that the compound changes shape when an electric field is applied.
Chemical formula:Pb[ZrxTi1−x]O3 (0≤x≤1)
Molar mass 303.065 to 346.4222 g/mol
Application
It is used in a number of practical applications such as ultrasonic transducers and piezoelectric resonators. It is a white to off-white solid.
